Day 30 - Kazakhstan flag - July 9

We’ve left Kandyagash in the early morning, although we didn’t sleep much due to the mosquitoes that in this place were really annoying. We drive for further 200 km until the "cafè" Dam; a very small rest stops. Unfortunately we found it closed. It was very nice because obtained from a tank of a truck. We take the opportunity to recharge the batteries and resting in the shade. Today the temperature is about 40°C but fortunately there's a bit of wind that reduces the heat.

During the break we’ve discussed the plan of the next days; we have the sensation that we are getting closer to Europe and in a few days we’ll take a rest day in Odessa on the black sea. We are also waiting for Carlo who will join us again after he left us on the borderline between China and Mongolia. The afternoon is not exactly as expected. In fact the road becomes as an uneven road with huge holes and mud, where sinks the Giorgio's car. It tooks almost one hour before taking it out. We reach the final destination at 11.30 p.m.; exhausted and hungry. We will continue to update you the next day. See you tomorrow!
